FAA Grants Exemption to Aircraft Manufacturer

Icon Aircraft was recently given an exemption by the FAA to add 250 lbs to the existing Light Sport Aircraft weight limits for amphibians. The added weight is needed to incorporate a spin-resistant design for the amphibious A5,
which will improve the safety of the aircraft.
