Bill Welbourn Joins Travers & Associates as Consultant to Commercial Aviation Division

Travers & Associates is pleased to announce that Bill Welbourn has joined our team as a consultant to our large commercial division.  Bill has extensive underwriting and claims management experience in all lines of aviation insurance.  His background includes international experience as well.  Bill co-started an aviation underwriting and claims platform in the United States for a major aviation insurance company.  He transitioned Brazil, Mexico and Canada into the global aviation insurance system for the same carrier.  He served for 3 years as Chairman of a study group for the International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI) and also served 5 years as General Aviation Director for the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA).
